blogging....

I have been neglectful of blogging...mostly because I am intimidated. You see...I have a secret: I am not perfect. My house is often messy (not dirty, just messy from day to day life), I don't cook from scratch every meal, I don't home-school, I don't coupon, I'm not conscious of being green, I sometimes yell at my children, and the list goes on. While I love reading blogs, I get a sense of 'holier than thou' and feel I'm not good enough. Does anyone else feel that way?

What I do know is that I love my life, my children, my husband, and our home. I'm a mom, wife, woman doing the best I can. So maybe I'll just write about that, and maybe some of you out there will identify with me. :)

Resolutions...

My goals for this year:

*workout at least twice a week
*lose 10 lbs
*laugh more
*start scrapbooking again
*be better at keeping things organized
*learn more about blogging

We'll see what I can accomplish....

This blog is my new year's resolution. I have been in love with blogs for about 4 months now....I mostly like the home improvement/decorating ones, and that is most likely what I will write about too....with a little of everyday life thrown in.

First I will start off with a little about me....my name is Christi and I live in South Dakota...I'm in my upper(cough/cough) thirties with 3 children (all boys) and I've just started my 2nd marriage....which is going wonderfully. I love crafty stuff: scrapbooking, making stuff, decorating, etc. Spray paint is my best friend! Anyways, I hope you will enjoy my adventures in home decorating and renovating!
